>>45394422I just play spin-off games if they happen to make one I’m interested in. To be frank, mainline Pokemon is just too by the numbers and stagnant for me to even remotely care. I honestly feel as though I’ve “grown out” of mainline Pokemon games as I can’t even really get much enjoyment out of the old games anymore. Mainline Pokemon games would need something more for me to get back into them. However, one thing I’ve consistently enjoyed from the franchise are the monster designs.
