>Year is 2131. Natural resources are the humankind's biggest concern. Countries fight each other for the scarce natural resources available, have to deal with pollution, hunger issues and nuclear waste.>Humankind is most likely to be alone as the only life form over the world. Recognizing that other life forms are vital to the civilization surviving, a council is made to decide what to do to stop this catastrophe.>Geniuses from all around the world gather to discuss an alternative. They needed the photosyntesis capacity of plants, with the versatility of animals (they just have to change position when land dries out). So they made their best effort to combine both. That's how the first Pokemon were born.>Seeing the success of this project they dealt with two more matters: Logistic issues and Adaption. To solve the first, geniuses made pioneer studies of reconstruction of matter from energy, and compression algorithms. Pokeballs were invented as a very experimental gadget, but soon it showed vital for plant-pokemon massive migrations to less hostile regions. In Adaption, they resolved to let loose some DNA material, so given certain conditions, this plant-cattle can adapt easily to these conditions. In these geniuses' jergon, that's called Evolution.
