If every pokemon you don't use is a box filler, then there should only be 6 Pokemon in the game. Nevermind that NPCs need Pokemon to use, Nevermind that other players are going to have different teams. "Box Fillers" as an idea is so self-centered it literally ignores that other trainers you fight in the game for there to be a game in the first place have to have different pokemon than the player, otherwise it'd be boring and repetitive if everyone had the same 6 pokemon.
So hell, I rescind my first statement, the argument doesn't even make sense if only one person plays the game and only plays it once, because to actually play the game they need to fight NPCs with other pokemon! It's a non-argument!
