Starter pick: Let's go with my favorite fire-type underdog, Tepig (free.) It'd be a boon to have in a snowy place like Sinnoh. I also opt to give it Sucker Punch for an egg move (-50) and a mental bond (-150.)
Skills and abilities: Let's go with Blend-in (-150 with drop-in discount,) Combat Training (-50 with drop-in discount,) and Mechanic (-300) which will come in handy for my vehicular gear pick.
Gear: Motorcycle (-100) is obligatory since I chose Mechanic, 50K Pokedollars (-50) to purchase needed gear, Medical Kit (-50) as a contingency plan, and Laptop (-100) because why not.
Flaws and future: No thank you on the flaws, and future-wise I'd opt to return since I'm already 26 years old. Plus if I can bring my six best buds with me, I'm all for it.
All in all I'd try to collect my usual Pokemon favorites while dodging or disrupting the machinations of Team Galactic. If I do well enough, I think I'd get myself a place in Jubilife to settle in for the decade, or however that may work.
