After exploring the world in the standard Pokemon journey, I'd join a water type gym and make an honest an honest living fighting alongisde my water type bros (pic related). Maybe one day I can make it up to gym leader, maybe even become part of the elite 4, but that isn't important. What is important is forming the strongest bond possible with my pokemon and ensuring only the strongest trainers get past my gym.
