I get that the dark, unreadable eyes of a Barn are not super relatable on a fully-evolved partner mon like a starter, so the anime eyes make sense. At least they look cute on Rowlet. A ghostly Barn Owl face under that hood would've made this design perfect. I love it as is, but I do wish it could've kept that detail. I really doubt it will because as
