>>53270328Yep, basically the state of the game right now is "one ultra broken Pokemon mops up your entire team unless you pack a few specific Pokemon running a few specific moves", like Snorlax can CC well and is tanky, but wallbanging someone with Block is conditional and is countered by Full Heal, Mamo has great CC but has to actually get in which can make him take a ton of damage against an All Rounder carry or get kited and die uselessly against things like Delphox, Owl and Garde. Both of these dudes have less than stellar ults on top of that.
Slowbro, meanwhile, can shut down the bullshit hypercarry with his ult and can actually deal damage to an attacker + debuff them with Scald. Amnesia means he won't die instantly as he takes 5000 damage trying to get in position also, so he can actually do his job against the overtuned top tier Pokemon.
If slowbro gets nerfed, they're just giving a green card to every Bear/Bug/Pult/TTar player to shitstomp the game unchallenged because then literally nothing in the game has the CC and survivability to put up with their damage output.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, I could be talking out of my ass, but I honestly believe Slowbro is the only thing keeping the game from being "which team has the better top tier of the week" and even then only barely. I hope what that other anon said is right and we get more defenders who can also do Slowbro's job, it seems unlikely that they're ever gonna meaningfully nerf guys like TTar or Pult that make Slowbro necessary in the first place so the only option left is more "Slowbros" so to speak.
