I love lurking the "what's your favorite pokémon of each type" threads because it makes me see that we're all different and it amazes me. Especially when I don't understand. For example, look at [pic related]: it's a pokémon I don't feel anything for. No attraction, no hatred, it could not exist and it would not change anything for me. But telling me that there are people who love it makes it nice and interesting to me. He doesn't gain a particular value intrinsically, but a subjective value, thanks to other people and the love they have for him. And I think that's great.
One of the things I enjoy most is knowing that any pokémon, no matter how small, lame or ugly, is going to be someone's favorite. It makes me happy to think about it.
