So, I've been breeding Pokemon to see what can learn Boomburst. It seems Chatot is the only other flying type that can learn it, which makes sense given its based off of a parrot. I tried breeding the move onto a Togepi and Wingull, but no dice. The only other flying Pokemon I could imagine learning the move is possibly Woobat.
My end game is to try to breed the move onto a Ralts because of Mega Gardevoir's Pixilate ability, but it sure doesn't seem like that's a possibility. Tomorrow I'm going to attempt to use Exploud to breed the move onto it. I figured I could try to get Mawile to learn Boomburst. If it can learn Boomburst, then I'll try to breed it onto Castform. If I can't find a way to breed the move onto Castform, or the handful of other Pokemon that are part of the Amorphous egg group and another one, then it seems Ralts with Boomburst is not to be. If I can't get the move onto a Castform, then Shellos and Phantump are my only hope. That, and the possibility that a yet to be available Pokemon in the amorphous egg group gets the move.
Any stories from you guys about trying to breed this move onto Pokemon? How about just general egg moves?
