>>33687286Why was Gengar line SPECIAL then? Nothing in it's design really screams special. Hell haunter has two massive hands and part of gengar's dex lore is sneaking up on people's shadows and getting close up with them.
Also there was Night shade as contactless move but that was fixed damage so fair enough.
Why were there no other ghost moves? Or proper dragon moves in gen 1? Why did Shadow ball reduce sp. def?
Did they run out of time? Card memory? Budget? Misscommunication among devs?
