>>38367006It fucking was. Even if ORAS could have been handled better making a previously event-only Pokemon obtainable in the default game is not just great, its fucking baffling.
Everything from previous gens has been lost and not obtainable by legitimate means anymore for new players of those old games or people who want a new save file.
While its nice to have this stuff for free GameFreak's method of handling event pokemon is so horribly outdated they should just move to doing either this or standard DLC.
Anything that future proofs pokemon event content is something the series desperately needs.
