Gen 8 does have some designs I genuinely hate, like pure gen 5 tier trash such as Greedunt which has that dumb cartoony face that most gen 5 pokemon have, however I'd say there's only like 15 or so truly shit designs, which while being a higher number of bad designs than gen 6 and 7s bad designs, is still lower than Unova's which easily has 70% of its dex, at minimum, being fucking dog shit filler.
