>>27769516>>27769516I would just like to post again to clarify some things.
I never meant to stifle any sort of criticism towards the design of Entermaid. Judging from the OP's first post, I assumed this was going to be a more formal and academic discussion of why or why not you like Entermaid, and such.
I didn't mean to say that criticism is wrong. I do believe in criticism, as long as it is constructive and based on sound and well explained reasons.
What I was trying to discourage was the name-calling. Name-calling is far from being constructive criticism, and it does not contribute to a productive and healthy discussion. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding.
I understand you have very strong feelings about the design. I'm not here to change anyone's mind about Entermaid, and I would never attempt to do so. I believe people need to discover these sorts of things on their own.
I just wanted to say that injecting hateful comments is cruel. If you were to type something such as "the color scheme is off-putting to me, the spikes on the tail seem unnecessary, the size of the flippers is jarring, etc", then that's totally fine. But saying it's "faggy, only faggots like this, I want a manly Pokemon not a girly piece of shit" is on a whole other level. This is no longer criticism. It's a hate-filled rant. These kinds of ad hominem attacks only serve to lower the quality of the discussion.
I understand if you don't like it. But is it really necessary to hurl insults like that? I'm just saying this because I truly believe we can have some awesome, insightful discussions if we can all just respect one another.
