Fan art always makes them look older anyway and when it comes to anime and the way Sugimori draws his characters, unless they are preschooler class, it could very well just be a short girl. Hilda and Serena are still oldest at 16, Hilda being 18 in b/w 2 and even older by S/m. Serena is now clearly older by S/m as implied by Dexio. Who is to say the other fem protags aren't a lot older like Red is.
