I believe this source, because when I look at Arms I can see how much more careful Nintendo was to not make any character appear as a racist caricature. Obviously Punch-Out and Arms are mechanically two very different games, and their style is also very different too, but they are both boxing themed games and I think Arms serves as Punch-Out's replacement, even if it is a shit replacement.
