Pokemon is an IP and anyone who reproduces or modifies the game content without permison should be sanctioned, also it causes problems to Gamefreak and TPC subsidiaries, who are unique in the japanese market in the sense that they follow Western standards and ethics and treat their employees like decent human beings. The only ones who benefit from these romhacks are other greedy japanese companies that abuse their workers.
