>>12623546Everybody has a bit of nostalgia in them. Seriously, whenever an age thread pops up, the teenagers that comprise most of /vp/ almost always has Hoenn as their favorite region or R/S as their favorite games.
It's not even that terrible of a thing honestly, it's simply the way of things; always try to keep it in check and don't let it overwhelm rational thought. I've been playing since '98, and the first two generations remain my favorite, but X/Y look like they might be the best games since then. I haven't been this hyped for the franchise since 2000, right before G/S released stateside.
