Maybe they weren't implemented the best mechanically, but I'm glad they at least thought about each Pokemon having their own personality.
How else would you show a Pokemon's personality? It's not like they're going to have different graphics or animations for every different personality type.
Sure, it would be nice if they could stick with the old adage of 'show, don't tell', but look how many fucking Pokemon there are.
Granted, if they COULD do something like that, it would be much better. Every Pokemon should have their own personality.
