I'm gonna post my thoughts so far: theres a LOT of things I forgot about this game, like early Riolu and Mareep. I thought that Hugh was an edgy brooding rival, but he's like a mix between Barry and Silver; Loud and spontaneous yet belligerent with strangers and clearly has a chip on his shoulder. If I remember correctly his beef is over a purrloin Team Plasma stole from him, right? I kinda like him. So far I'm pretty glad the unova games had a sequel, this is a less harsh introduction to the region than the last entry, with familiar faces and all.
