Moved on towards the lostlorn forest, forgot I left a repel up, encountered a really high level female heracross. Killed my growlithe, but I caught her. Surprise, surprise, didn't like guys either. Because Growlithe died in that battle, the Heracross was automatically paired up with Watchog. As I headed back to Nimbasa City, I encountered an eligible female Minccino, which I caught and was able to be paired up with Onix. She has Cute Charm, which is situational and probably the worst ability it could have.
On the bright side, Sandile evolved and Onix managed to handle Elesa all on his own. A crit Smack Down one-shot her Emolga and Dig was strong enough to take out her Flaaffy and Zebstrika.
I'm not quite sure how to handle Clay. I usually have a Lilligant or similar by now to sweep him.
