I appraised some guys Pokemon cards a couple years ago and he would not understand that his card wasn't worth as much as graded cards and the crazy high prices he thought his card was were people just listing their cards at insane prices. I literally told him you can list anything at any price, that I myself can even list something for $1mil. After I explained everything as best and clearly as I could he would just reply "but how come mine isn't $5,000?" I sometimes even have to tell people "I'm not going to buy your cards, I'm not gonna make an offer, this is what they're worth" and they still don't believe me, like I'm gonna try and snake em.
Fucking boomers and normies, they always seem to have super good old shit that's wasted on them. Later on the cards get beat to hell because they don't understand to take care of them.
