I got Moon for christmas, and I'm just leaving island #1. I'm trying to do the Ash Challenge thing by only catching mons that will be with me thru endgame (but given this was 1st try I'm not too attached to the challenge).
- Butterfree (named Squinchy when it was a caterpie) carried me hard, esp. against Hapu. How hard is the fall-off for bugs this time around? I heard Cutiefly is a good bug that has late-game staying power.
- I picked El Gato Fuerte and just got Acrobatics; I hear there's some moveset that lets him be set for life (so to speak)? I want to say I remember something about Leech Life TM but nothing else comes to mind. While I'm at it, is Growlithe/Arcanine a better Fire/Dark than Litten/etc is?
- Oh man, I want my Joltik and Golurk back badly, but the last game I played before this was Black. I thought there was something preventing old mons being traded to SuMo; is it possible to get wondertrade'd those pokes?
