>>38693653From everything we've seen so far it seems like devotion to certain monsters is almost entirely regional. Even within regions like Johto where Arceus worshipers have built shrines to their llamagod their native deities of Lugia and Ho-Oh continue to reign supreme in the minds of their followers. Realistically, I suppose it only makes sense that in a world with so many living gods you may as well just kneel to the closest one(s) in proximity to you.
But Lugia is still the best.
