>>11977163Oh wow I know that feeling, Anon. Except, everyone in my family has done something amazing - doctors, lawyers, researchers, etc. - and this was after immigrating to America late in life, so now they all expect me to do better because I'm part of out first generation born here.
My mom knows I've started therapy and she keeps telling me that I need to do what makes me happy, but in the same breath will say how proud they are of me of me because of my accomplishments so far so I can't tell her that it would make me happiest to give that all up.
