Buzzwole is an amazing card. It will easily defeat Zoroark due to the weakness to fighting, and can easily take down 210 HP pokemon like Golisopod GX (a common partner for Zoroark). Why is this? Well, fighting has many tools right now - Strong Energy is an easy way to add on 20 damage, and the ability from Diancie Prism Star adds on another 20 to make Buzzwole able to do 70 damage + 30 bench for one energy. Buzzwole is also an Ultra Beast card, and can take advantage of Beast Ring when there are 3/4 prizes left for your opponent - meaning that Knuckle Impact can be used in one turn, or that Knuckle Impact can be used repeatedly by setting up more than one Buzzwole.
This card is commonly paired with Lycanroc-GX - it is already a good secondary attacker, and has all of the same tools that Buzzwole-GX has (minus the Beast Energy). This means it easily fits in. The ability of Lycanroc (When this pokemon comes into play you may switch your opponents active with a bench of your choice) means that it is much harder for your opponent to hide their own pokemon from Buzzwole.
Buzzwole is losing many of the tools that make it work, mainly Max Elixer (Look at the top 6 cards, if any are basic energy attach one to a benched pokemon) and Strong Energy (The pokemon this energy is attached to does 20 more damage to active pokemon). It does have a weakness to Psychic energy, and before Forbidden Light came out there wasn't a good counter. Then Forbidden Light brought both Malamar and Ultra Necrozma, and that helped change things.
