Namina had some speed EVs so i was hoping that she would outspeed but sadly that didn't end up being the case>Namina survives an Earthquake with 27 hp and hits back with a much weakened Eruption>I expect another Earthquake so i swap in Loco who ends up tanking a super effective Dragon Claw instead>Loco takes Aggron out with an Earthquake of his own>Metagross comes out. Loco is fairly bulky so he stays in and hits it with a Flamethrower>Metagross survives the hit and sadly kills Loco with a crit Meteor Mash>I send in Gona. Metagross eats his Sitrus Berry>Gona tanks a Psychic and hits back with an Earthquake that fails to kill>Steven heals. Gona hits it with another Earthquake that puts it at roughly 50% hp>Metagross fires off a Hyper Beam. Gona lives it with 12 hp and finally takes the metal monstrosity down with a third Earthquake>Cradily comes out. I swap in Erm who immunes a Sludge Bomb>Erm hits Cradily with a Thunderbolt and then gets confused by a Confuse Ray>I swap in Qina who gets hit with an Ancient Power>Qina poisons Cradily with Toxic and then dies to a second Ancient Power>Erm comes back out and sets up Reflect before getting confused by Confuse Ray again>I swap in Carmen who tanks a crit Ancient Power>Ice Beam coupled with the chip damage from Toxic takes the prehistoric plant out>Armaldo comes out and immediately gets taken out by a Surf>Claydol comes out. Carmen takes it out with a Giga Drain + Surf while tanking an EarthquakeCould have played the final battle better but i also got hit by some unlucky crits and 2 extremely high roll ancient powers that were just enough to kill Qina. bit bummed that i didn't manage to champion her since now my odds of encountering a Ralts in Emerald are greatly diminished.
