But the adventure sense of RT and the more grounded feel of it resonates with me more. In Explorers you have a past and a special ability which makes you destined to save the world etc, and in RT you're just a blank page with nothing but your own will, determination and friendship to depend on. It's just much more relatable.
Explorers can also eat a dick for forced losses and that one utterly embarrassing moment of writing in the final special episode.
