I can imagine Juliana's personality and her dynamic with Ash being similar to Makoto from Movie 20. I can even see Juliana and Ash spotting Koraidon/Miraidon falling from the sky and racing to reach it first, just like Ash and Makoto met in the movie.
Arven likely plays a role similar to Brock or Cilan but with greater story relevance. He could act as the straight man, dealing with Ash and Makoto's antics.
