But I think the problem comes in when people who don't take the metagame seriously get rekt by someone who does and then bitch about it endlessly, THAT's pretty stupid I'm not gonna lie.
And in the same vein, the opposite is true. People using copypasted smogon teams and ancting like an elitist prick about it are insufferable. And sometimes, the shit gets copied because it works so well, it discourages people from diversifying their team and trying out other strategies, instead opting for the hottest strategy of the day like everyone else. It's kind of depressing.
There should be some kind of mutual understanding that not everyone plays the game the same way, but alas this is the internet, which seems to have been built on shitflinging nowadays.
