But it's not consistent, doesn't apply to every pokemon and the degree changes between each pokemon.
Stuff like spinda is extremely unique, while pokemon with variations like sinistea are also a thing.
It does seems like this is something they're more likely to do these days but the reason is not a wide spread thing is simply because gf is lazy/there's not enough time/it makes the process of updating the models every few years an even bigger of a task.
