Now you're just lying which is disappointing. 3D requires more effort to draw 2D onto consistently. that's simple animation. Also SM didn't even remove the use of 3D so i honestly don't know what you're talking about. they just used it less prominently because it's difficult and (as we've established) they went out of their way to be lazy with SM. hence where it is used it looks weird or downright fucking awful (pic related). I get it, you have incredibly low standards and a grudge against XY. But dissociating from reality doesn't help

This, SM used 3d backgrounds regularly but was really bad at it most of the time. Just look at Lana doing her Z move, they messed up this twice
