IIRC that game forces you to use Switch mode and has easymodo affection actions (I think it's shit like extra crits, dodging 100 Acc attacks, not being KO'd when they should, idk I refuse to play anything newer than BW2)
Because of the easymodo features I'd argue the Platinum rematch is harder, especially with Set Mode, level caps and No items in battle (which when combined actually make Pokémon games decently challenging sometimes)

If we're going strictly by Level of their Ace Pokémon she's tied with HG/SS Red at 88. Though her team outlevels his on the whole (Red's is 88/84/84/84/82/80).
In terms of Difficulty I'd argue it's a toss-up between:
