>>43119344Definitely check out XY. It's appealing and it's easy to get into for newcomers, it has LITERALLY the best animation in the entire anime, battles and artstyle. Also kewlest version of Ash we've ever got.
A lot of people would say that DP(Sinnoh anime arc) is the best season and I guess it sorta is but it's one of those things that you had to watch when it was airing to really appreciate it. The animation is whatever 2007 tier Pokemon anime standard(cuz that's when it was made), the story episodes are good though. I just don't think you'd really get why DP is so special unless you watch the anime from like literally the first episode, otherwise you'd probably think it's average at best.
