So you get a lighthearted adventure with low stakes and friendly "rivals". But then the game also wants to have commentary about wars of the past and kids going hungry. It doesn't quite know how to play the balancing act. So all the stuff about Emma and the other poor kids is just shoved into the post-game after he's already lost.
