Mewtwo uses one psychic, picking up the remaining Lions and crushing them into a pulp in mid-air, staining the ground beneath them with their own blood and pus for miles around. What the fuck are you talking about. Not to mention the other 600+ Pokemon that haven't used their attacks yet.
Mewtwo could have done that to all the lions at any time, Rayquaza just wanted first shot because he's a go getter.
