I'm making a rule similar to my XY run and I'm giving encounter priority to Alola mons.
Trainer's school went decently well except for the part where I got flinch-haxxed to oblivion and had to make a last-ditch effort with Matcha.
Alolan Grimer's surprisingly good, but I am in dire need of something for Electric-types.

>>51412410I use them with level caps purely because I enjoy swapping my party around a ton, it's let me discover stuff like Klefki and Carbink, mons I would've otherwise never used. I know some people don't like using them, but arguing about self-imposed challenge rules feels a little redundant. If you wanna use em, sure. If you think grinding adds to the challenge, go for it.
