I didn't realize it back then but now I do; sword and shield are really damn good and soulful. I picked it up this month and bought the dlc so I could get back into VGC but I kept finding myself distracted by how much there was to do. I still haven't loaded into a ranked doubles game but I've been having the most fun I've ever had with this game and it's all thanks to the eye opening experience that was opening up the pokedex and realizing just how many mons are in the regional dex.
