>>53265139I like Polished Crystal a lot but I've always been curious about what the general reception to it is because it adds a lot of stuff from FRLG/HGSS in addition to completely original stuff, none of which I really think is bad but definitely borders on fanfiction-tier additions with new buildings like the Celadon University or the Ecruteak Shrine. I think it's great but I can definitely imagine more Johto-purists not liking it.
My biggest nitpick with it is that a lot of the standard mons are cut for newer mons (aka mons like the Hoppip line and Shuckle are gone in order to make room for cross-gen evos like Leafeon and Electivire). I'd love to see them implement the 16-bit index patch (
