This might be even a bit of cool is if they turned this into a "quest." You load up wonder trade. It tells you you need to catch x. You go get an x and then upload it to receive a pokemon someone else had to get for their quest.
Maybe even throw in some Nintendo events that have special requirements in order to complete the quest. In turn, you get a special pokemon from Nintendo.
