Anybody here familiar with gen 1 glitches? I encountered something weird yesterday and was wondering if it was a known glitch.
After fighting and defeating Sabrina, I mashed A to get through her post-battle text quickly. However, instead of giving me the TM for psywave, she repeated what she normally said before the battle, about how she predicted that you would come to challenge her etc etc. Then then I had to battle her again for some reason. After defeating her again, she gave me the TM like normal and I could leave.
This happened on the Japanese version of pokemon Green. I doubt that I'm the first one to experience this glitch in the 20-something years since this game's release, but a quick google search didn't give me any results. Anybody know anything about this phenomenon?
