>>38514584The theater I work at had an early screening and decided, hey, I get free tickets and I like pokemon so why not. I liked it a fair amount. It wasn't something fantastic but that's what I expected from a movie adapted from a not too popular spin off. The story was kinda average but again, spin off was just as average. >>38515354 since outside the mc's pikachu and the the part with the chatizard battle, most generations got a fair share of screentime except maybe gen 4 and 7 though I could have missed some stuff. I reccomend going in for the existence of the pokemon visuals and some fun pokemon entertainment since it felt this film was having some fun and may have had a few good fans in its production. Might even open the doors to bigger projects that can be end up more successful.
