killing Ilias quite literally destroyed his own universe and timeline to the point of it being almost beyond repair and causing the whole Paradox shit to start happening.
He also didn't even kill Ilias, she managed to live (although she did have to seal herself off to survive so now she's basically a child, but she still manages to keep her sanity and not fuck everything up like alice does).
