I tried marathoning all the games back in like 2015 and couldn't even get past gen 1, I think I've kind of been burnt out since
I hate the grind and how the more mons you catch and use the lower level you'll end up being, I hate how samey everything feels regardless of route, things like rainstorms are superficial and just another coat of paint, I hate the combat and how even at it's best it's a rock paper scissors match with numbers for flavor.
I actually enjoy the spinoffs, ranger, conquest and especially mystery dungeon
