There was never a differentiation. She is not even named in the 160 page guide for FRLG. If you want to push that her name isn't Green either, it's actually supposed to be Blue, and there are around 20 names you cycle through as suggestions when playing, as people who actually fucking play pokemon and not just Go and Masters would know.
