I have been really lucky in Black 2. Found a shiny Mienfoo(route 14 dark grass, 30% chance) after huting for only like 5 hours. Also, got 3 other shinies by pure luck, lost one of them though(the pic Litwick)

Question have you guys ever not caught a shiny? I'm only asking since I'm thinking about not catching the guaranteed shiny Haxorus.
