>>51521268y'know its funny, desu Grovyle barely feels like a character man. I haven't played his special episode, but you talk to the dude like 4 times in the main story. Makes it a bit hard to build a connection to him, like I wanted to see maybe a small flashback to him and the player travelling in the future. Thats one of the coolest parts of the game and there's like 3 lines on a black screen and some exposition and that's it until he sacrifices himself. When I first played it and learnt I was from the future and he was my partner my mind was blown and I was excited to re-connect and learn about our journeys and all the cool shit we did on the run, but instead he basically tells your partner "It's up to you" and then fucks off.
I mean it's a Pokémon game and I get that but yeah, I would have liked more.
More with your partner as well, just talking or chilling. It's cool reading about yourselves in the guild members' journals and in the sunflora short it talks about how everyone's telling spooky stories and shit together but you never get that. Idk, If I had the skill I'd love to just add like 20 or 30 extra little friendship events or something. Idk, guess my imagination will have to suffice.
