Made it past Dakim, but not without a few hiccups along the road. Damascus was our first death, Skrub only had his Wynaut left, but we didn't have anything to really deal with it except to very slowly whittle it down with Confusion. I tried a Secret Power and the Counter damage was only about one third, so I chanced another...and it crit. Maybe the first time me critting the enemy has ever been that devastating, or devastating at all, but needless to say it was just enough to bring down Damascus, infuriatingly enough.
I knew we'd likely lose some things to Dakim, so I brought along some stuff I figured I wouldn't be using permanently. We struggled a little, a level 40 Entei this early is pretty terrifying, but we only ended up losing mons that I was planning to save for later games anyway, so all things considered it went pretty well, we even managed to snag Entei!
