Klaus starts things off with a missed Crabhammer, and Golem sets up Sandstorm. Crabhammer misses again, and Golem attacks with Rock Slide. Crabhammer misses AGAIN (it was at this point I checked the "moves.asm" file to make sure I didn't accidentally fuck with Crabhammer's accuracy and nope, it's still 90%), and Golem KO's Klaus without taking any damage whatsoever. The sandstorm's Sp. Def boost keeps Golem from fainting to Lettuce's Giga Drain, but on the next turn we're able to take it down without taking much damage.
Brock sends in Magcargo and uses an X Defend while Lettuce sets up Leech Seed, then Lettuce gets a boost from AncientPower and Magcargo burns us with Will-o-Wisp. For some reason, Magcargo doesn't use an offensive move, instead opting to Recover and restart Sandstorm while Lettuce whittles its health down with AncientPower. Lettuce goes for the same strategy against Shuckle, but the combination of Wrap, Sandstorm, and its burn leave it at just 8 HP before Shuckle goes down.
Against Aerodactyl, Lettuce is able to get some HP back with Giga Drain. When Brock's Aerodactyl flies up, we swap out to Bad Dragon for another same-species showdown. However, Brock doesn't seem to be down for that, swapping to Tyranitar who doesn't take much damage from Bad Dragon's Rock Slide. Earthquake does a bit more, but Tyranitar's Rock Slide KO's Bad Dragon. Lettuce comes back in and takes down Tyranitar with Giga Drain.
Aerodactyl comes back out, and this time when it soars into the air we swap out to Ballsack to tank the hit. That idea doesn't quite work out...
