With three on the bench, that's 210 damage for a single DCE, plus another 20 damage from Magma Base since it affects your opponent as well. You also have Theta Double to attach multiple Busting Balloons, Assault Vests, or whatever other tool you think is worth it.
He used a teched Meowstic EX to do the final 10 damage to M Mewtwo and other Megas for whenever Magma Base missed.
