One time I found a shiny Tentacool to replace one that I had lost years earlier as a kid on the same Ruby cart on the same day as I had hunted for my shiny Groudon. Don't think it would have hit quite the same if it was 1/4096 or even lower like certain ROM hacks do where it's 1/1024 or even 1/512
